Made up of 115 islands in a remote section of the Indian Ocean, the Seychelles is one of the most exotic places in the world to take a vacation; and Frégate Island Private is one of the more luxurious places to stay once there. With 16 villas and a maximum of 40 guests, Frégate island is a 20-minute flight from the Seychellois capital, Mahé. The resort was designed to blend into the surrounding environment, and the villas are made of mahogany grown on the island and African teak. From Dec. 20 through Jan. 7, the minimum stay is seven nights, and the per-couple nightly room rate is $2550, which includes three meals a day, but excludes a 15% tax and service charge, and the $1823 round-trip, per-couple charge for helicopter transfer from Mahé.
