Laluna Grenada - Worlds Most Expensive Resorts 2005

Made up of 16 one- and two-bedroom cottages and surrounded by ten acres of pristine hills and white beach, the resort of Laluna is a quiet sanctuary in Grenada. Attention to detail right down to the bathroom amenities sets this member of Design Hotels apart--as does its price tag. From Dec. 20 through April 13 this year, guests can sign up for the Taste of Laluna Cooking Package, which costs $6,780 for seven nights, or $968 per night. The package includes accommodation for two with a private pool, breakfast and dinner each day, as well as private cooking lessons, cocktail and wine tasting sessions with Laluna's Sicilian chef and the resort's food and beverage manager--both experts in the field.
