The Eden Rock Hotel, ST. Barts - Worlds Most Expensive Resorts 2005

At the Eden Rock Hotel, once a private home and now one of the most sought-after hotels in St. Barts, you'll pay $888 a night in December. But it's worth it for the precarious cliff-top location, the privacy that comes with a 13-room resort and first-class dining and amenities. Included in the nightly room rates are the morning breakfast buffet, transfer to and from the airport, select water sports and access to the hotel's collection of CDs and DVDs. Bringing along the little ones? If they're over 6, expect to pay an additional $128 each.
