Cocoa Island, Maldives in 16th Annual Robb Report’s as “Best of The Best Spa”

Robb Report an annual US magazine is the foremost authority on the lifestyle that encapsulates all the elements of the luxurious living. Robb Report’s 16 Annual “Best of the Best” revealed the ultimate in luxury travel, finest hotels, resorts, spas, dining, and airlines etc…


The Maldives luxury resort Cocoa Island was awarded “Best of the Best Spas”. Robb Report on page 206 describes Maldives Hideaway as a Spa “Providing its guests a “wholehearted approach to health,” Como Shambala Retreat, Cocoa Island in the Maldives earns “Best of the Best” honours for its abundant selection of massages and treatments that “renew the body by rebalancing its energies.”

Cocoa Island was “discovered" by photographer Eric Klemm while on a shoot for Playboy in the early 1970s, the tiny strip of sand was registered as a resort on 28 February 1981 initially with 12 beds. In 1999 it has gone through extensive refurbishment with a new concept of providing luxury services under a new management.

North Island of Seychelles was selected as the “Best of the Best Resorts” by Robb Report editors, who were impressed by its 11 secluded 5,000 square-foot villas, tropical elegance and exceptional cuisine.
